ITINERARIES

OPTION 1
MAPAJO. 3 Days / 2 nigths

Day 1
Reception at Rurrenabaque. Transfer to Mapajo eco-lodge, 3 hours from Rurrenabaque by motor boat until the Quiquibey river, in the Reservation of biosphere “Pilon Lajas”. Accommodation at eco-lodge, lunch and walk around the town.

Day 2
Breakfast and trip over the Quiquibey river, then walk to the "Senda Collares". Lunch and we continue to the "Senda de las Parabas". Return to the eco - lodge. Observation to the night wild life.

Day 3
Cultural exchange with the locals of “Asunción of Quiquibey”. Lunch and return to Rurrenabaque. (retourn to the top)

OPTION 2
MAPAJO. 4 Days - 3 Nights

Day 1
Reception in Rurrenabaque. Transfer to Mapajo eco-lodge, 3 hours from Rurrenabaque by motor boat until the Quiquibey river, in the Reservation of biosphere “Pilon Lajas”. Accommodation at eco-lodge, lunch and walk around the town.

Day 2.
Breakfast and trip over the Quiquibey river, then walk to the "Senda Collares". Lunch and we continue to the "Senda de las Parabas". Return to the eco - lodge. Observation to the night wild life.

Day 3
Journey in a hand made boat at the Rosarion river, it is possible swim in the river. Lunch and cultural exchange with the locals of “Asunción of Quiquibey”. Dinner with traditional music.

Day 4.
Walk around the town and observe the wild life of the zone. Lunch and return to Rurrenabaque.(retourn to the top)

OPTION 3
MAPAJO. 5 Days - 4 Nights

Day 1
Reception in Rurrenabaque. Transfer to Mapajo eco-lodge, 3 hours from Rurrenabaque by motor boat until the Quiquibey river, in the Reservation of biosphere “Pilon Lajas”. Accommodation at the eco-lodge, lunch and walk around the town.

Day 2
Journey by the Beni river, accommodation at Suapi eco-lodge. Lunch and journey until ”El Beo”. Visit to the cave of the “guacharos” (blind birds). Return to the camp and dinner.

Day 3
Walk to the “Senda del Salitral” and the observatory of Suapi. Traditional fishing in the river, lunch and walk to the “Senda Escabeche”. Return to Mapajo eco-lodge.

Day 4
Cultural exchange with the local people, Mosetenes and Tsimaes. Lunch y journey to the parrots observatory. Rest and dinner with traditional music.

Day 5
Walk around the town and observe the wild life of the zone. Lunch and return to Rurrenabaque. (retourn to the top)

OPTION 4
MAPAJO. 6 Days - 5 Nights

Day 1
Reception in Rurrenabaque. Transfer to Mapajo eco-lodge, 3 hours from Rurrenabaque by motor boat until the Quiquibey river, in the Reservation of biosphere “Pilon Lajas”. Accommodation at the eco-lodge, lunch and walk around the town.

Day 2
Walk to the “Senda of Mapajo”. Lunch and cultural exchange with the local people of “Asunción of Quiquibey”.

Day 3
Journey to the Quiquibey river. Lunch and cultural Exchange wit the locals of “San Luis Chico”. Walk until “El Chontal” eco-lodge.

Day 4
Walk through “ Senda el Chontal”. Traditional fishing in the San Luis Lake.

Day 5
Cultural exchange with the local people of the Quiquibey town. Lunch y journey to the parrots observatory. Rest and dinner with traditional music.

Day 6
Walk around the town and observe the wild life of the zone. Lunch and return to Rurrenabaque. (retourn to the top)

It is important that you’ve been vaccinated against the yellow fever. - We recommend that you arrive in Rurrenabaque 1 day before the tour - It's possible to get to Rurrenabaque by plane – 45 minutes - or by bus - 18 hrs – from La Paz.
