Itineraries
OPTION 1
SAN MIGUEL DEL BALA. 2 Days / 1 Nights
Day 1
Reception at Rurrenabaque. An outboard motor canoe will then take you up the Beni River to San Miguel del Bala Eco-lodge. Arrival and welcome at the eco-lodge. Lunch. Afternoon visit to Tacana families to learn about agricultural practices including how to make sugar cane juice. You will also learn about traditional building techniques and handicrafts. Dinner and night walk to observe the
wildlife.
Day 2
Walk to the Amazon rainforest guided by locals. There you will learn about natural history while walking the rainforest trails. Lunch and return to Rurrenabaque.(retourn to the top)
OPTION 2
SAN MIGUEL DEL BALA. 3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1
Reception at Rurrenabaque. An outboard motor canoe will then take you up the Beni River to San Miguel del Bala Eco-lodge. Arrival and welcome at the eco-lodge. Lunch. Afternoon visit to Tacana families to learn about agricultural practices including how to make sugar cane juice. You will also learn about traditional building techniques and handicrafts. Dinner and night walk to observe the wildlife.
Day 2
Walk to the Amazon rainforest guided by locals. There, you will learn about natural history while walking the rainforest trails. The walk will finish at the Beni River from where a boat will take you back to the eco-lodge. Before dinner you will be invited to attend a special session where locals will tell you more about their traditions and the way of life in the community.
Day 3
Boat ride to Caquihuara, inside Madidi National Park . Observe parrots, large macaws, and wildlife. The forest on both sides of the Tuichi River is virgin Amazon rainforest with tall kapok trees, wild figs and other primary forests tree species. Lunch and return to San Miguel and transfer to Rurrenabaque in the late afternoon.

Day 1

Day 3
